New Work Models – Mobile Working Reduces CO2
Since 2021, the FIXIT GROUP and its subsidiaries have been testing and implementing new work models. “Mobile working” has been particularly successful in Germany, offering employees maximum flexibility while also protecting the climate: Assuming a value of 150 grams per kilometer between home and work, approximately 55.5 tons of CO2 were saved in 2022 alone. In addition, there has been a significant decline in business travel, which is now very frequently replaced by video conferences across Europe.
Occupational Safety and Health: Train – Educate – Prevent
In collaboration with national workers’ compensation associations, managers and employees receive training on occupational safety and health, covering both theory and practice. Topics include the importance of occupational safety and health, the social security system, clarification of responsibilities, potential legal consequences of violations, and the analysis of actual accident cases. The goal of these regular training sessions is to foster a strong safety culture: to enhance safety competence within the company, create a clear awareness of hazards, and provide clear guidelines for preventive measures.
Supplier Management – Digitalization
The implementation of specialized supplier management software marked a major milestone in procurement. Supply chain security is professionally managed, supplier and product data are easily exchanged, and all information related to customer relationships is managed in a digital software system. The first certificate is the successful outcome of the supply chain risk analysis and certifies that the FIXIT GRUPPE complies with an important supply chain law (LkSG).
